 KHALIL THOMAS Khalil P. "KP" Thomas, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully at 8:30 p.m., Aug. 16, 2012. He was born in St. John, Idaho, Feb. 26, 1924, the son of Peter and Cina Thomas, and married Julia Jones Dec. 2, 1950. Khalil graduated from the University of Oregon with a doctor of medical dentistry (DMD) in 1958. He lived with his family in Las Vegas for 50 years. He was an avid golfer, generous, responsible, and full of integrity. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, of 56 years, Julia Thomas; and his brother, Garth Thomas. He is survived by his sisters, Helen and twin, Kathryn; children, Larry (Karen), Cina (Miles), Joe (Mickeleen); grandchildren, Eric, Cina, John, Alec, Kendall, Paige, Nels, Lennon, Matt, Julia; and great-grandchildren, Cody, Kellin, Cash, Jacqueline, Cannon, Cora Lane. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed. Services were previously held.
