 LASCA SCHOFIELD Lasca Loraine Schofield, 79, of Caliente, passed away Oct. 25, 2012. She was born Feb. 14, 1933, in Almont, Idaho, to Victor Leon and Ila Gertrude Harriman Gustafson. She graduated from Lincoln County High and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Lasca is survived by her children, Kellie Alcaraz of Colorado Springs, Colo., Kenneth Schofield of N.Y., and Samuel Kris Schofield of San Diego; brother, George Gustaf Gustafson of Fruita, Colo.; sisters, Ella Verona Thompson of Cedar City, Utah, and Vicki Mae Gustafson of Caliente; seven wonderful grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Schofield; children, Keith Schofield, Kim Schofield and Kerry Victor Schofield; brothers, Theron Everett Gustafson and Terry Leon Gustafson; and parents, Victor Leon and Ila Gertrude Harriman Gustafson. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the Caliente LDS Ward Chapel. Viewing will be prior to the service from 11:30-12:30 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be in the Caliente Cemetery under the direction of the Southern Nevada Mortuary.
