 LEE ROSE Lee Birda Rose, 92, of Las Vegas, passed away in her sleep, Sept. 12, 2012, after a short illness. A long-time retiree from the Frontier Hotel, her great smile and love of everyone she met will be missed. She was a long-time member of Unity Church and a recent member of Remnant Ministries. She also attended Calvary Southern Baptist Church before becoming ill. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Perry "Gold Dollar" Rose; her mother, Ms. Millie Meeks; and her brother, Brewster "Brother" Meeks. Lee is survived by her son, Leslie Benny Rose; his wife, Stephanie Rose; grandson, Marques Rose; and her cousin, Hazel Geran of Las Vegas. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 21, followed by the funeral services at 2 p.m.,both at Palm Mortuary-Downtown, 1325 N. Main St., Las Vegas, NV 89101. Graveside services at 3 p.m., following the services, at Palm Memorial Park.
