 LESLIE OETZEL Leslie Roland Oetzel, "Jerry," of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. He was born Jan. 20, 1930, in Chicago, and has resided in Las Vegas since 1987. Jerry also resided in California for 23 years. Jerry was the widower of Marie Oetzel, of 51 years. He is survived by sons, Larry Oetzel and Shawn Oetzel; daughter, Kathy Penna; son-in-law, Roger Penna; daughters-in-law, Crystal Oetzel and Juliette; grandchildren, Chris, John and Nick Oetzel, Destiny and Savannah Penna; two great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Jerry will be deeply missed for his sense of humor, his imagination when telling a great story, and his unyielding devotion to his Chicago Cubs. "We will rest easy knowing you are spending eternity in peace with your angel, Marie." Services will be private.
