LOUISE LEHMAN Obituary
LOUISE LEHMAN Louise Lehman, 99, went to Heaven Feb. 1, 2017, in Las Vegas. Louise was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Born Jan. 10, 1918, in Racine, Wisc. She was the daughter of John and Cora Thompson. Louise attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison majoring in home economics however, she really wanted to be a doctor like her father and grandfather. Louise married the one and only love of her life Edward Charles Lehman and they had four children; Keith, Kenneth, Kathleen and Kurtis. Louise had many nicknames but the best known was GGW (Great Grandma Weezie). GGW showed her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren the meaning of a loving family. She said she didn't have a need for a lot of friends because her family was so wonderful to her. She was kind, loving, funny, witty, sassy and very intelligent. If you didn't know how to spell a word, ask GGW. She did crossword puzzles in ink. She appreciated every little thing anyone ever did for her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; son, Keith; and grandson, Trevre. Louise is survived by her children, Kenneth, Kathleen, and Kurtis; daughters-in-law, Maureen (Kitty) and Regan; son-in-law, Waldo King; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Although our GGW will be greatly missed; we thank you God for blessing us with her for so many years. The family is planning a celebration of life Saturday, March 4.
