MARJORIE KING Obituary
MARJORIE KING Marjorie Marie King, 86, passed away in Puyallup, Wash., July 25, 2018. Margie was born Marjorie Marie Scott to Otis and Edna Scott. She graduated from Centralia High School and later obtained her Master's Degree from University of Nevada, Las Vegas in education. Margie devoted her career to teaching elementary reading in Clark County. She was a quilter and avid genealogist, belonging to the Daughters of the American Revolution, Valley of Fire Chapter, as well as to a quilting guild. Margie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William King; son, Philip King (Maurine); daughter, Deborah Davis; sister, Vida Johnson (Warner); and grandchildren, Roy King and Suzanne Davis. Marjorie is survived by siblings, William Scott and Jacquelyn King (Philip); children, Rebecca Kooyman (Joseph), Arthur King (Pamela) and Clayton King; grandchildren, Kerri, Jessica, Kristin, Kellie, Regina, Rochelle, Justin, Philip, April, Taylor, and Trisha; at least 22 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. In her final years, she found much joy in her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Owing to her love of genealogy, she will be missed by family from around the world. No services are scheduled. Her ashes will be scattered at Mountain View Cemetery in Centralia, Wash.
