 MARY ANNE WEHRLY Beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Mary Anne Biller Wehrly, "Grandma Goose," a resident of Las Vegas for 57 years, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side, Monday, Sept. 4, 2012. She was born Aug. 8, 1922 to George and Kathryn Basick in Draper, Wis., the eighth of nine children. Mary Anne retired as a Clark County Public employee, working at Western High School and University Medical Center, as a cook and baker. Being the fantastic mother that she was, she raised six children on her own after her husband passed. Grandma Goose really enjoyed doing anything with her family, fishing, gardening, and caring for her chickens. Mary Anne was preceded in death by Norman, her first husband; Dean, her second husband; seven brothers; and her beloved grandson, Davey. She is survived by her son, David Biller; and daughters, Kathy Delling, Cindy Olafson (Gary), Ellen Mony (Rick), Allison Thomason (Al) and Jackie Moody (Jeff); 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 3-7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 10, at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131. There will be a funeral Mass for Mary Anne at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 11, at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way, Las Vegas, NV 89108. Burial following at Palm Northwest Memorial Park.
