 MATTHEW TATEISHI Matthew Charles Tateishi passed away on Oct. 5, 2012. Known as "Charlie" by his family, he was a dedicated father, spouse, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was born on April 3, 1968 in Honolulu, and lived in Kailua until he relocated to Henderson in 2004, where he established many cherished friendships. Charlie was the "go to" guy if you wanted to know where to go to eat, what to see when travelling, or just had a random question. He enjoyed watersports, especially kayaking, reading, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and was an avid MMA fan. He was an honest and caring person who would go out of his way to help his family and friends. Charlie was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him and will be greatly missed. A celebration of his life will be at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 9404 Players Canyon Court.
