MERRY HOOPES Merry J. Hoopes, age 85, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012. She was born in Oklahoma City, and graduated high school in Los Angeles. She was married to J. Gordon Hoopes for 65 years. They have three children, Kirk Hoopes, Kyle Hoopes and Charla Walton; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was an optician in Las Vegas, and retired in 1990. She enjoyed world travel, playing bridge and was active in the Assistance League. Services will be private.
