 DR. MICHAEL DOMAN Oct. 3, 1938 - April 27, 2012 Dr. Michael J. Doman, 73, died at Flagstaff Medical Center, Friday, April 27, 2012, of pancreatic cancer. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at the Beacon Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Flagstaff, 510 N. Leroux St., Flagstaff, AZ 86001. Mike was born Oct. 3, 1938, in Medina, N.Y., to John and Ester Doman, and grew up in Camarillo, Calif. He was the first person in his family to pursue higher education, focusing his studies in physics. He earned a Ph.D. from SUNY-Buffalo in 1968. In 1977, he joined the company that he would stay with for 35 years, currently known as National Security Technologies in Las Vegas. Mike and Pat married after college and celebrated their 50th anniversary together last September. They made their home in Boulder City until 2005, when they relocated to Flagstaff. Mike is survived by his wife, Priscilla (Pat); his two daughters, Lorraine Doman-Sheydayi (Alexei) of Gilbert, Ariz., and Jennifer Kourik (Gregory) of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret Taylor (Tony) of Boulder City; and two nephews, Lt. Col. Andy Taylor (Jennifer) of Las Cruses, N.M., and Todd Taylor (Mary-Clare) of Highland Park, Calif.
