MICHAEL SKUROW Michael A. Skurow, 68, a retired gaming professional for Caesars Palace for 33 years, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013. He was born March 25, 1944, in Cincinnati, and was a resident of Nevada for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Louise Skurow; and his uncle, Morris Schneider. He is survived by his sons, Matthew A. Skurow of Burbank, Calif., and Andy (Al Pontillo) Skurow of Bridgeport, Conn.; brother, Ronald (Minh) Skurow of Mesquite; aunt, Harlene "Butzy" (William) Cohen of Cincinnati; cousins, Becky Schneider-Snow and Charles (Nancy) Schneider of Las Vegas, and Hildy (Richard) Grossman of Brookline, Mass.; nephew, Patrick Shane (Courtney Rye) Culhane of Las Vegas; nieces, Sally Cohen of Los Angeles and Ellen (Michael) Cohen-Scott of Santa Fe, N.M.; grandniece, Eva Culhane of Las Vegas; and grandnephew, Damien Culhane of Las Vegas. Services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas. Interment will follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
