NEIL COOPER Neil Lawrence Cooper, 72, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2012. He was born Dec. 5, 1939, in St. Louis. Shortly after, he moved to Miami, where he was raised and went to school. He moved to Las Vegas where he resided for 58 years. Neil retired in 2000 from the Flamingo Las Vegas as keno manager, where he worked for 25 years. In early years, he loved riding horses and playing golf with his friends. He lived for special times with family and friends and enjoyed playing poker. He is survived by his daughter, Dana FitzPatrick (Richard); his grandsons, Christian and Logan FitzPatrick, all of Las Vegas; his brother, Joe Cooper of Dallas; his sister-in-law, Carol White of Chicago; niece, Lara Rose Bradley (CR and Cooper) of Collinsville, TX; and his nephews, Dominic White (Joanna, Kayla and Ethan) and Joe White (Amy, Julia and Aiden), all of Chicago. Services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Interment will immediately follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
