 NOREEN THOMPSON Noreen M. Thompson, 55, a registered nurse, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2012. She was born Sept. 14, 1956, in New Haven, Conn., and was a resident of Nevada since 2002. She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen McCarthy of Norristown, Pa. Noreen is survived by her husband, Gary E. Thompson; sons, Michael Thompson and John Thompson, both of Las Vegas; daughter, Kathleen Thompson of Lansdale, Pa.; brothers, Joseph McCarthy of Gilbertsville, Pa., and John McCarthy of Trappe, Pa.; and sisters, Eileen Haag of Reading, Pa., and Nancy Cassidy of Sanatoga, Pa. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 29, with funeral services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nathan Adelson Hospice would be appreciated.
