NORMA BANKS Norma Jean Murphy Banks Sept. 10, 1951 - July 26, 2012 Our Lord, Jesus Christ embraced our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Norma Jean Banks and welcomed her into His kingdom July 26, 2012. Norma passed away quietly in her home in Pahrump, with her family at her side, after enduring a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Charles Banks; three children, Cindy, Louis and Stephanie; five grandchildren, Samantha, Jordan, Dylan, Sean and Jacob; two sisters, Maxine and Juanita; brother-in-law, Lynn Banks; and countless nieces and nephews and their children. Norma was born in Las Cruces, N.M. Sept. 10, 1951. Her family thanks our Lord for sparing Norma's suffering and gently guiding her to Heaven to her loved ones who joyfully greeted her. Norma will be missed by her family and friends. Viewing and services will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N., Las Vegas. Burial will be private for family at Memory Gardens Cemetery. "The sweetest thing we've ever known is loving you, Norma"
