1966 - 2017 Obituary Condolences
PATRICK ROSE Patrick Thomas Rose, 51, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at home. He was a beloved son, brother and uncle. Pat was born May 13, 1966, to John and Maudine Rose, in Las Vegas, the youngest of five children. A true Las Vegas native, he attended elementary, junior high and graduated from Ed W. Clark High School in 1984. He was a graduate of Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. Pat was seriously injured in the Pepcon blast May 4, 1988, in Henderson. Despite the serious and debilitating injuries that he suffered, Pat went on to become an avid off-road enthusiast enjoying riding, hiking and camping in his motorhome. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his great-niece. He is survived by his brother, Michael Rose (Carol); and sisters, Phyllis McFadden (Jimmy), Lillian Squire (Jeff) and Frances Rose. He leaves behind eight nieces and nephews; six great-nephews; and extended family and friends. Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, October 6, at Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3036 Alta Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89107. Burial following at Palm Memorial Park-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to UMC Trauma Center, 1800 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89106.
