iconPAUL STUTZMAN Paul David Stutzman, 72, of Las Vegas, was promoted and called home by our Lord May 26, 2012. Paul arrived to Paul and Rose in New Baltimore, Mich., Aug. 25, 1939. He moved to Las Vegas in the mid-60's and worked in all the "Old Joints," the Silver Slipper, Fremont, Stardust (of Casino fame) and Hacienda, just to name a few. He then met and married Roxy, helping to raise her sons, Clay, Ral, and Rhett Vertrees. Paul then moved to real estate sales and development doing projects in Nevada and Texas. One of Paul's proudest accomplishments was being a little league baseball and Pop Warner football coach, ultimately winning the City championship with the Dusters. After family, his passion was golf. I am sure he is now tracking down other members of the Las Vegas Country Club who preceded him and created his own "Ali Baba" group. Paul lived life to the fullest, never letting "the world" get him down and this was infectious on his family. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Roxy; sons and daughters-in-law, Clay and Jamie, Ral and Katie, and Rhett and Julie Vertrees; and grandchildren, Rianna, Rick, Brittany, Ralrex, Raquel, Regan and Reese. We will miss him for his short time that we are part. We love you Paul! A memorial of his life will be at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.: Visitation will be noon-1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, with services following. Burial following at Davis Memorial Park. Come one and all.
