 PHYLLIS BODELL Phyllis J. Bodell, a resident of North Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013. Born in Chicago, Oct. 5, 1934, to Ralph and Eolis Hoffman, Phyllis was part of CPAAN (Citizens' Police Academy Alumni) and Citizens Patrol for the North Las Vegas Police Department. She enjoyed bowling, bunco, bingo and her great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lajoie "Bud" Bodell; and daughter, Cindy. Phyllis is survived by her children, Michael (Patti), Christine (Steve) and Donna (Greg); 10 grandkids; 21 great-grandkids; sister, Gerri Yudis; and friends. Services were 3-7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 10, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. Burial will be at 1 p.m., Friday, at Palm Memorial Park-Northwest. Donations may be made in memory of Phyllis J. Bodell to North Las Vegas CPAAN, P.O. Box 336222, North Las Vegas, NV 89033.
