RAFAEL PEREZ Rafael Montoya Perez, a resident of Las Vegas for 23 years, passed away Oct. 7, 2012. He was born Sept. 29, 1925. He suffered a stroke in 2000 and more recently a fall that broke his hip. He served in World War II. He spent many years in sales in the service station equipment industry and the real estate industry. He is survived by his wife, Marian; sons, Brian, Michael and Joey; daughters, Michele, Tana and Kelly; grandchildren, Bryn, Bryce, Mike, Fred, Amber, Nick, Holly and Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Lilya and Caleb. Rosary services will be at 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12 at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Las Vegas. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
