RALPH AGRETTO Ralph Agretto, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away April 10, 2012. He was born June 18, 1932, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Ralph immigrated to the United States in the 1950's. He served in the U.S. Army until honorable discharged in 1962, when he moved to Las Vegas, where he assisted in the opening of Caesar's Palace, and was a 50-year resident of Nevada. Over the years, he worked in a number of casinos, including the Riviera, Tropicana, Dunes, Treasure Island and the Continental. He was married twice and is survived by his loving wife, of 31 years, Lynne. He had a great love of golf - even though he would often say it did not love him back. He enjoyed playing "Omaha," with "Aces" being his favored hand. His perfect day consisted of watching the Masters in his green chair with a frosty Michelob, visiting with his grandson and throwing a ball for Bella, his dog. Other favorites included his wife's penne pasta and goulash, golf at the Las Vegas Country Club (where he was an original member) and money in his "kick." Ralph was preceded in death by his father, "Kribby," who was buried with four deuces, the result of an inside joke between father and son; his close friends, Jimmy Manzinni and "Big Thunder," Lenny Gariti. Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Lynne; his sisters, Joyce and Kathy; nephew, Joey; son Ralph; and daughter, Debbie; stepdaughter, Tina; stepson, Robert; and his beloved grandson, Jeau. His wishes were to be cremated with no services.
