1936 - 2018 Obituary Condolences
RALPH "POPS" LOVE Ralph Love "Pops" peacefully passed away February 25, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He will forever be remembered and revered by his sons, Thomas, Jack and Kirk. Additionally, Ralph is survived by his sisters, Pat and Ann; brothers, Teddy and Bobby; 11 grandchildren, Summer, Siara, Jillian, Jaclyn, Jenevieve, Brandon, Dillon, Tanner, Allison, Abby and Conner; and two great-grandchildren. Born in 1936, in Columbia, Alabama, he grew up quickly as both his parents died young. Pops landed in Las Vegas in the 1950's stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. He served his country for six years as an Air Force Medic. Upon leaving the Air Force, he settled in Las Vegas, where he worked as a union meat-cutter until he retired. Ralph had an adventurous spirit. He enjoyed activities like fishing in Alaska, bear watching, ATV riding, and cheering loudly at Alabama football games. Ralph was most delighted in the company of his beautiful grandchildren. If Pops could speak for himself today, he would want his legacy to reflect that his greatest accomplishment as a man was being the best Grandfather he could be, with unwavering devotion to his family and close friends. Celebration of Ralph's life will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at the residence of Tom and Shannon Love.
