RALPH PRAY Obituary
RALPH PRAY Ralph Merton Pray, of Junction City, Kans., passed away peacefully at St. Rose Hospital, Henderson, Nov. 20, 2012, at the age of 82. He was born in Winfield, Kan., to Joe and Fern Pray and attended Jenkins Rural School near Oxford, Kan., and Rainbow Bend Grade School,, an oil field community. He graduated from Winfield High School in 1948. He married the love of his life, Wanda, in 1949 and they had two children, Linda and Rod. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1951 and was stationed at McChord Field, Tacoma, Wash., as a crew leader of the commander's aircraft, an F-86D. He is survived by his loving wife, of 62 years, Wanda; children, daughter, Linda Blanken and her husband, John, of Henderson; son, Rod Pray and his wife, Linda, of Lakeville, Minn.; four grandchildren, Jessica Cvelbar and her husband, Jim, Daniel Pray and his wife, Jamie, First Lieutenant David Blanken, U.S. Army and Matt Blanken; and two great-grandsons, Landon and Lincoln Pray. Ralph was loved by all and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Services are pending.
