 RICHARD BARNES Mr. Richard Gregory Barnes was born in Bogalusa, La., Oct. 05, 1952, to the late Samuel Barnes and Bertina Barnes. Richard departed this life Oct. 11, 2012, at the Red Rock Care Center in Las Vegas. Richard was employed by the Silver Slipper Hotel and Casino and Flamingo Hilton in Las Vegas. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; his only brother, Samuel Barnes Jr.; nephew, Bryan Barnes; sister, Barbara May; and two brothers-in-law, Elvin May and Milton Brown. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving son, Richard Barnes Jr. of Las Vegas; two sisters, Elouise Brown of Las Vegas, and Delores (Alvin) McCant of Angie, La.; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. There will be celebration of life at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Sunrise Mountain Ministry, 5670 S. Pecos Road, Las Vegas, NV 89120.
