 ROBERT KALLFELZ Robert "Bobby" Kallfelz passed away Monday, after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Kim Shehadi Kallfelz; children, Rory Kallfelz (Robin), Stacy Kallfelz, Lance Kallfelz and Lonnie Kallfelz (Sumalee); grandchildren, Meredith Kallfelz, Hayley Kallfelz, Alexandra Kallfelz, Casey Kallfelz, Madeline Kallfelz and Emily Kallfelz; sister, Barbara Kallfelz Martin (Wilfred); and his nieces and nephews, Paul, Steven, Maureen, Patrick and Tim Martin, Arne, Mathew, Ardeth, Mason, Nickolas Shehadi, and Chaan and Ambrielle Capps; and Maxie The Dog. Bob graduated from St. John's The Evangelist High School and attended Syracuse University and Murray State. He was a 2012 inductee into The Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame for basketball. He was a resident of Las Vegas for 22 years, after retiring in 1991. His love of sports always inspired his life and others. Before retiring, he spent many years coaching youth baseball and basketball and, most recently, watching his grandchildren play baseball, softball and lacrosse. No services are scheduled.
