Obituary Condolences

ROBIN REESE Our beloved Robin went home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, Dec. 3, 2012, in Boulder City. She fought courageously the last six years, including a liver transplant, which she called "Her Miracle." Deborah Lucille (Burgess) Reese was born April 24, 1952 to Homer "Tex" and Bobbie Lee Burgess in Farmersville, Texas. She graduated from Boulder City High School in 1970. Robin could accomplish anything she set her mind to and she spent her life giving and caring for her family, friends and anyone that needed help. The joys of her life were her two daughters and God gave her the gift of time to experience the happiness of a precious granddaughter, Evalyn May. She was swim mom, cheer mom, cupcake mom, free-spirited Harley riding "Cheeks," treasured sister Ra', special aunt to many nieces and nephews, cowgirl dancing queen, "fisher" woman, homemaker, faithful friend and a blessing to anyone who met her. Family traditions were dear to her heart. Robin made everything special and never missed the opportunity to bake a cake or take a group photo. She was queen of volunteers and fundraising and wore the title of "Jug Lady" with "tie dye" pride. She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Lee Reese and Sheena (Billy) Howard; granddaughter, Evalyn May Howard; sisters, Candy Redner, Anita Kazee and Dolores Toscano; husband, Douglas Reese; brother-in-law, Jimmy Redner; and her faithful cats, Cougar and Willy. She was preceded in death by her dear brother, Bill; and her parents. Viewing will be 3-6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway in Henderson. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Bethany Baptist Church, 210 Wyoming St., Boulder City.
