 ROGER LUDWIG Roger Alan Ludwig, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, returned to his loving Father in Heaven Nov. 29, 2012. He was born June 27, 1950, in Detroit, to Evelyn and Walter Ludwig, their third of four children. A resident of Las Vegas since 1951, he graduated from Western High School in 1968 and later graduated from Southern Utah University in 1976. He married his sweetheart, Feb. 23, 1974, in the St George, Utah LDS temple. He spent his life serving family, friends and church. He had a big, generous, compassionate heart and was always ready to offer a lending hand and listening ear. He is survived by his loving wife, Laurie Cram Ludwig; children, Tara Whitney (Dane), Trisha Doney (Scott), Erin Ludwig, Taylor Ludwig (Hayley) and Andrew Ludwig; his mother, Evelyn Warren; his siblings, Carolyn Compton, Daniel Ludwig and Janice Zielinski; mother-in-law, Mary Cram Jones (Kendall); eight adoring grandchildren, Alexis, Karlie, Kate, Trevor, Trent, Crew, Cort and Luke; as well as a large, extended family, all of whom loved him deeply. We appreciate your consideration of donations made to the LDS Missionary, Humanitarian or Fast Offering Funds, in lieu of Flowers. Visitation will be 5:30-7 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89129. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 3, at the LDS chapel, 10550 Alta Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89135.
