RONALD DIGLES Ronald E. Digles, 80, of Henderson, passed away Nov. 10, 2012. He was born Nov. 19, 1931, in Chicago, and was a 35-year resident of Nevada. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a retired structural engineer and engineering contractor. He graduated from Illinois University with a degree in structural engineering. He belonged to the National Society of Professional Engineers, he was on the board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors for the State of Nevada, and was former member of the Knights of Columbus. "He was the best father and the best husband ever!" He was preceded in death by wife, Bettie Digles; and brother, Joseph Digles. He is survived by his wife, of nine years, Carol; daughters, Mary E. (Robin) Hill and Peggy (David) Neff; sons, Michael Digles and Steven (Diana) Digles; stepdaughter, Cherl (Rudy) Pilz; stepson, Richard (Sandy) Miller Jr.; stepdaughter, Renee (Michael) Johnson; and 18 grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, at Palm Mortuary-Eastern, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in Ronald's name to the , Desert Southwest Chapter, 1028 E. McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85006-2662.
