ROSY GUSS Obituary
ROSY GUSS Rosy B. Guss, a true American patriot, gained her final independence July 4, 2017. Born Nov. 10, 1929, in Bountiful, Utah, to Ross and Donka Brezoff, Rosy moved to California at a young age. Growing up as one of four siblings, she attended Fullerton Union High and was a majorette for the school band. At that time, she met her sweetheart and future husband, of over 70 years, Ugene. They were married in Las Vegas in 1946 and had two sons. Rosy also had a storied career, working in the American Defense industry for North American Aviation, Rockwell and Boeing. She was especially proud to have worked on the Minuteman missile, the Apollo space program and the B-1 bomber. After retiring to Las Vegas, Rosy was active in the Sun City Summerlin Aquacize Club and enjoyed her final years surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Ugene; her sons Michael and Steven (Kristie); her granddaughters, Jennifer and Elizabeth; and her great-granddaughter, Joslynn. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Services will be private.
