SHERMAN GONCE Sherman B Gonce, 78, of Las Vegas, passed away Jan. 22, 2013. He was born Sept 17, 1934, in Raton, N.M., and was a 61-year resident of Las Vegas. Sherman retired as the postmaster of North Las Vegas with 37 years of service. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Sherman is survived by his beloved wife, of 38 years, Barbara; sister, Sandy (Ron) Penna; children, Sara (David) Courtney, Laura Gonce, Peter (Teri) Gonce and Beth (Russell) Livingston; grandchildren, Brian, Craig, Nathaniel, Elyse, Eric, Grace, Max, Noah and Isabella; and great-grandchildren, Hunter and Lillian. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services following, at 2 p.m., at Faith Lutheran Church, 2700 S. Towne Center Drive.
