 SHIRLEY BRANCUCCI Independent free-spirit, Shirley "Miss Perfect" Brancucci, 83, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. She exuded the Las Vegas pioneer spirit by breaking down barriers in the casino industry for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jan Petering. She is survived by her children, Edward Petering Jr., Lisa Hillyer and Trina Petty; son-in-law, Craig Scott; extended family, Jerry Brancucci, Jennifer Zuiker and family, and Jerome Brancucci; her siblings, Robert McKenzie and Barbara Bowling; and her seven beloved grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Nicko, Gabby-girl, Kenzie, Gray, and Teegs. A celebration of her extraordinary life will be 7-10 p.m., Friday, Jan. 11, in the Dauphine Room at the Orleans Hotel, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted and divided among her favorite charities.
