 SSGT DAVID MARTIN U.S. Army, Retired SSGT David Allen Martin, 62, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012. He was born April 11, 1950 in Las Vegas, and was a life-long resident of the city. David served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, retiring as staff sergeant. He is survived by his wife, of 30 years, Sung-Ok; daughter, Sylvia Martin; son, Ryan Brown; daughter, Jazmine (Jason) Saing; brother, Joe (Sharon) Martin; and sisters, Sandra (James) Lipham and Geneva (Jeff) Anderson. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m., Thursday, June 28. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m., Friday, June 29, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City.
