STAN ARONSON Stan Aronson, 93, of Henderson, died peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family, Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011. Through his consulting firm, Aronson Associates, Stan pulled together the needs of manufacturers, retailers and consumers to develop and market juvenile products that met exceptional standards of quality and safety. Johnson and Johnson, and Questor Educational Products were among his clients. He was Evenflo's sole consultant for over 20 years and developed their full line of accessories for infants and children. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., Stan was and avid reader and a passionate liberal with a compelling interest in people and world affairs. In his later years, Stan took up weight lifting as a hobby, winning the Senior Olympics for the State of Nevada in the 60 and over class. Stan was 85. During World War II, Stan served in the Merchant Marines aboard the William Few, where he was wounded and received a commendation from the U.S. Navy. When the U.S. Government recognized the service of World War II Merchant Marines, Stan received the WWII Victory Medal, Atlantic War Zone Medal, Mediterranean-Middle East War Zone Medal and the Combat Bar. Stan is survived by his beautiful wife, of 64 years, Constance; his daughter, Dara Aronson; his son, Daniel Aronson; and his three grandchildren, Amanda Aronson, Jessica Carr and Zachery Aronson. Service will be at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
