STANLEY ELDER Stanley G. Elder, 76, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013. He was born March 31, 1936. Stan lost his battle with cancer at home, with wife Linda at his side. In the 1950's and 1960's, he was a pro-wrestler, he rodeo-ed and did stunts for movies. His life's work was laying gas lines all over the country, including the Alaskan Pipe Line. Besides Linda, he is survived by his sons, Jim and Jay; and stepchildren, Mark (Pam) and Charmeine (David); grandchildren, Landon (Ashley), and Lauren (Matt); and great-grandson, Macesin. He was an avid sportsman. Memorial services will be in the spring at his favorite camp spot at Echo Dam, where a tree will be planted in his memory. Neptune Society handled the arrangements.
