THEODORE ROSEN Theodore A. Rosen, "Ted," 81, passed away Sept. 10, 2012. Ted was born Oct. 10, 1930 in Bison, N.D. He was raised in Newburg, Ore., and attended Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore. He proudly served his country U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, and moved to Las Vegas in 1956. He started his law enforcement career with the Las Vegas Police Department in 1956 and retired from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as sergeant, P#36, in 1989. He enjoyed his retirement, traveling the country by motor home, golfing and spending time with family. He was an active member of the Los Prados Golf Club. The family thanks everyone for their love, support and prayers during this difficult time. Ted was a wonderful husband and loving father. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Eva Rosen; and brothers, Herbert and Henry. Ted is survived by his wife, Charlotte; daughters, Kerry (Dave) Lawrence and Jenny (David) Milligan; son, Stuart Rosen; stepsons, Thomas Jacobson and Ronald (Debbie) Chandler; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha, Clara, Delores and Ruth; and his brother, Ruben. No services are scheduled.
