TODD VAN BLANKENSTEIN Todd Van Blankenstein, 41, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012. He was born May 29, 1971, in West Covina, Calif. He was a business owner and contractor who had lived in Las Vegas for 19 years. Many beautiful and historic projects were completed by his wonderful crews under his direction. Todd's most amazing creations were his daughters, Christina (16) and Loren (15), who both survive him; along with his wife, of 18 years, Rebecca. He enjoyed snowmobiling, water sports, fishing, motorcycle riding and being with family. Todd was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served an honorable mission in Portland, Ore., as a young man. He is also survived by his parents, Melissa and Cornelius; siblings, Karena (Steve), Stacy (Steve) and Jared; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family, all grieving our unexpected loss. He was preceded in death by his oldest sister, Tahna, in 2011 and baby brother, Brett, in 1973. Todd was a beloved husband and father and will be missed by many. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, with services following at 11 a.m., both at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2701 E. Pebble, Henderson, NV 89074. Burial following at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
