 VERGENE MUNFORD Gene Munford, 80, passed away June 16, 2012, at his home in Henderson. He was born Aug. 17, 1931, in Cedar City, Utah, and was a 55-year Henderson resident. Gene retired as a chemical plant operator while also owning a successful tree service for almost 40 years. One of Gene's many passions was times spent with his family on vacations, hunting trips, and outdoor recreation. He is survived by his wife, of 57 years. Rosalie; sons, Bruce and James; and daughter, Mary Jean, and their spouses, of Henderson; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway. Visitation again from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at Southern Utah Mortuary, Cedar City, Utah. Interment following at 1 p.m. at the Cedar City Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, Henderson.
