WILLIAM CUSHMAN William J. Cushman, better known as "Big Bill," passed away Nov. 14, 2012, at age 94. Born June 21, 1918, in San Diego, Bill was a retired aeronautical engineer with Consolidated Aircraft-Convair, a former U.S. Customs Agent at McCarran Airport, Las Vegas and a Thirty-Second Degree Mason. He enjoyed NASCAR and San Diego Chargers football. Bill is survived by his daughter, Bette Suzanne Candlish of Las Vegas and Montrose, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought great joy to his latter years. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 19, at the Robindale LDS Stake Center, 7670 Bruce St. Burial following at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas.
