Andrew Angle Obituary
ANDREW ANGLE Andrew Scott Angle, 39, of Las Vegas, passed away June 7, 2011. He was born June 29, 1971, and was a 20-year resident of Nevada. Scott owned and was the project manager for Angle Concrete. A bridge builder, Scott along with his company was instrumental in building the Sky Walk in the Grand Canyon, Ariz. Scott was a phenomenal father, partner, son, brother, uncle and friend. He worked hard, played hard and cherished his family at full throttle. Scott's warmth and generosity made him unforgettable to even the briefest of acquaintances. Loyalty was important to Scott and he exemplified the characteristic in both his business and home life. A consummate prankster, animated storyteller and gifted guitarist, Scott brought a vividness to life that will be sorely missed even as its echo plays on in our hearts. Scott was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Jo Ann VanPatten. He is survived by his fiancee, Leslie; his children, Ricki (15), A.J. (14), Jack (12), Julia (10), Tyler (8), and Alexis (7); his father, Merlin; his siblings, M.D., Aaron, Stacy, Melissa, Duff, Amiee, Courtney and Samantha; and his partner in mischief, Erich. There will be a memorial service at 9 a.m. (formal service at 10 a.m.) Saturday, June 11, at the LDS Cholla Chapel, 303 S. Cholla St., Henderson, NV 89015.
