 ROSEMARIA GORDON Aug. 27, 1931 - March 26, 2012 Rosemaria Elizabeth Gordon (Sanskrit name Mahamaya), 80, a 52-resident of Las Vegas, passed away March 26, 2012, in Las Vegas. She was born in Camden, N.J., raised in Philadelphia, and moved to Las Vegas in 1960 as a dancer and musician's wife when entertainment was plentiful. Rosemaria is survived by her children, Rocky, Maia, Heidi and Aaron; as well as her grandchildren, Tara, Joshua, Mikalah, Gina, Sam, Aja, William, Josie and Alexander. She will also be missed by her sons-in-law, Robert and Jeff; and daughters-in-law, Sherry and Diane. Rosemaria is a graduate of UNLV. As a leading psychotherapist in the community, she established the Cocaine Outreach Center (CON) back in the 80's, provided support to the Las Vegas Rape Crisis Center, and is the Founder of the Vedanta Center of Nevada. Rosemaria was also a friend of Bill W. for almost 52 years. There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life will at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28.
