JAMES KLEVER Obituary
JAMES KLEVER Beloved husband and soulmate of Martha Woodworth, James L. Klever, 64, passed away March 15, 2012, due to an accidental fall while hiking at Black Mountain in Henderson. He was born June 2, 1947, in Carroll, Iowa, and was a nine-year Nevada resident. James was the son of Dallas and (the deceased) Pauline Klever of Plattsmouth, Neb.; brother to John Klever of Denver; and father of Jennifer Meyer and Stephanie MacDonald. James was a cutting-edge sculptor, poet, and inventor of "Cylinders - the New Chess." He was also a dedicated hiker and mountaineer, and in recent years developed a deep love of the desert landscape. His unflinching honesty, compassion, and ever-pouring creativity made him a fully alive, unique human being. Per James's wishes, no services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Henderson Police Department, 223 Lead St., Henderson, NV 89015. James is deeply mourned by all those who knew, loved, and will never forget him.
