DEBORAH ASHER Deborah Lee Asher, 60, passed away April 19, 2012, in Las Vegas. She was born May 9, 1951, in San Diego, to Nathan and Peggy Parsons Robinson. Her family moved to Las Vegas shortly after she was born. Debbie spent most of her life working in Coaldale and Silver Peak. She moved back to Las Vegas six years ago. Debbie was a fun-loving and kind-hearted person. She was spiritual and accepting of others. Debbie loved hunting for arrowheads and rocks while hiking in the desert. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed talking about current events with family and friends. Debbie was a daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all of her family and friends. Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy; sister, Denise Adams; and her grandfather, Elton Parsons. She is survived by her companion, Dennis Stevens; father, Nate (Beverlee) Robinson of Las Vegas; son, Jim (Lora) Smyth of Boulder City; two brothers, Rusty (Rose) Robinson of Las Vegas, and Mike Irete of Santa Cruz, Calif.; four grandchildren, Kinsey, Cole, Luke, and Remmi; two nieces, Gina and Tia Gomez of Reno. We love you Granny! Memorial services were held Thursday, May 3, at the Fifth St. Chapel of the LDS Church, Boulder City. A separate memorial service will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 19, in Silver Peak at the Community Center.
