ROBERT DAY JR. Robert S. "Bobby D." Day Jr., 51, a floor supervisor, of Las Vegas, passed away April 8, 2012. Born Jan. 15, 1961 in Greensboro, N.C., he was a 34-year resident of Nevada. Growing up in Greensboro, Bobby was in Indian Guides with his father and brothers. He played Pop Warner football, YMCA basketball, and was a junior curator at the Natural Science Center. The family moved to Las Vegas in 1978, where Bobby lived until his passing. He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents. He is survived by his son, Robert S. Day III; daughter, Candace; parents, Robert Sr. and Madeline; sisters, Kitty and Karen; brothers, Scott and Jimmy; many aunts, uncles, and cousins from North Carolina and Nevada. Services were private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA in Bobby's name.
