WILLIAM HIGHT William L. "Bill" Hight, 52, of Las Vegas, passed away May 5, 2012. He was born April 5, 1960 in San Diego. Bill graduated from Kearny High School and attended Mesa Community College in the Plumbers Apprentice Program in San Diego. He went on to become a journeyman plumber and was an active member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union, Local 525. Bill had a love for the outdoors and taught his children the same. When he made a friend it was for life and he would give them the shirt off his back. He embraced life to the fullest whether at work or whatever adventure he undertook. Bill had a laugh that was unforgettable. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Hight; and his grandparents. Bill is survived by his three children, Ashley Rose, Charles William II of Santee, Calif., and David Earl of Las Vegas; granddaughter, Emily; mother, Rosina McKim of Benton, Ark.; and two sisters, Deborah Turner of Reno, and Doreen Lupo of Shippensburg, Pa. Memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to a charitable organization of their choice in Bill's memory.
