DONALD BAKER Donald Gil Baker, 81, of Henderson, passed away May 23, 2012. He was born Aug. 20, 1930 in New Bedford, Mass., and was a 41-year resident of Nevada. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a retired salesman. Donald grew up in Staten Island, N.Y. He was married for 42 years. He enjoyed his work in sales because he loved to talk to people. Donald always had a great story to tell. He is survived by his wife, Jean; daughters, Dorita Duffield of Henderson and Julie Shannon of Temecula, Calif.; four sisters; two brothers; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 12:40 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City.
