JOHN PASTORELLA Obituary
JOHN PASTORELLA John "Vince" Pastorella, 77, a long-time resident of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, surrounded by his family. John was originally from Sheppton, Pa. He was a retired builder who, with his son, Giovanni, provided custom built homes for many Southern Nevada families. John loved to travel and always made new friends wherever he went on his many adventures. He was an animal lover and spent many hours with his dogs Winchester and Allie. He was a fixture at Dean's Place, his family's tavern and restaurant where he loved to meet and greet and chat with the customers. John will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his fiance, Joan Wilhoite; his daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Kevin Moyer; his son and daughter-in-law, Giovanni and Svetlana Pastorella; and his granddaughter, Anastasia Pastorella. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Vince and Anna Pastorella; his sister, Rose Sivar; his sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Tony LaRose; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services for John will be noon-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at Dean's Place, 8355 S. Dean Martin Drive, Las Vegas, for those who would like to share their memories of him. Donations in John's memory may be made to the or to the local Nevads no-kill animal shelter.
