I was so sorry to see Tony's recent obituary. I was his Executive Assistant at the Sahara when he last held the position of Vice President and General Manager. I was a hold-over from the previous Del Webb management team (Harrah's) as the Sahara was being sold to Paul Lowden. Tony and I only worked together for a relatively short time. It seemed to me I would never get his boxes of memorabilia unpacked that he brought into the hotel with him. However, he was a delight to work with and we both knew that the Del Webb days were coming to an end. Before we knew it, Tony was reassigned from the Sahara back to the Claridge in New Jersey before the sale to Paul Lowden was finalized. And I had the job of repacking up his memorabilia!! I remember a sign he had that said "I AM THEY". I loved that sign LOL!! On Tony's last day, Tony Packe and I walked together with him down to the main floor as he walked away along side the Sahara swimming pool. Andy Zorne was brought in to replace Tony until the sale was finalized. Andy too was such a delight to work with. Eventually the final hour of change came and we remaining Del Webb employees no longer worked at the iconic hotel/casino.

I see you have received a condolence from Ann Dye. Ann and I worked together at REECo!! I was not aware that you each knew each other.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss. Prayers to each of you.

My late husband Dick and I traveled many times with Tony and Linda with our group of RV'ing buddies. I'll always be grateful for all the fun memories in Mexico and other places. Please accept my sincere condolences and loving prayers for your loss.
