Amber Crawford-Matzenbacher Amber Noel Crawford-Matzenbacher passed away December 23, 2017, in Las Vegas, after a long illness. She was born November 4, 1963, in Reno, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Clemson Crawford. She is survived by her husband, Kelly Matzenbacher; her mother, Judith Crawford; her sisters, Colette Meighan, Dulcie Crawford and Delilah Morganti; and several nieces and nephews. She was a life-long resident of Las Vegas and attended St. Viator's Catholic School, where she was baptized and celebrated her first communion. Amber graduated from Bishop Gorman High School class of 1982, and the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 1990 with a degree in Business and Marketing. She was an active and a top producing Real Estate Agent in Las Vegas for over 20 years. She was involved in numerous alumni activities for Bishop Gorman High School. Amber loved horses and spent most of her teenage years caring for her horses, Sugar Nose and Charade. She also volunteered much of her time rescuing and caring for hurt and neglected dogs and cats. There will be a prayer service at 11 a.m. Friday, December 29, at St. Viator's Church, located at 2641 E. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas. Memorial service following shortly thereafter at the Bootlegger Restaurant, located at 7700 S. Las Vegas Blvd,, Las Vegas, NV 89123. There will also be a celebration of Amber's life at the Bootlegger Restaurant again 3:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 3.
