CHESTER KRULESKI Chester "Chet" Kruleski passed away January 6, 2019, at the age of 81. Chet was a U.S. Air Force veteran, worked at the Nevada Test Site, and spent 35 years as an electrician, working on many famous Las Vegas hotels. An excellent athlete in his youth, in later years he enjoyed bowling and coaching bowling. After retirement, he fulfilled a life-long dream of becoming a pilot, eventually building his own small kit airplane. As a pilot he was a member of the Young Eagles program, which introduces youngsters to the joy of flying. He is survived by Joanna, with whom he shared 56 years of loving marriage; his daughter, Rene Sykes (Tom); and sons, David (Jennifer) and Daniel (friend Bonnie), and his beloved grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, Sage and Alex. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Sat., Jan. 19, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Dr., Las Vegas, NV 89128. Burial will be at a later date at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr., Boulder City, NV 89005.
