Dillon Alan Chaisson, of Tempe, Arizona, formerly of Las Vegas, Nevada, died on April 30, 2019. Although, only 25 at the time of death, Dillon affected many people in his lifetime. His funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on May 7, 2019 at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 South Eastern Avenue, Henderson, Nevada 89123.

Those who knew Dillon, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Dillon was born on January 13, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a 2012 graduate of Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas and a student at Arizona State University. Dillon had so much love and admiration for the Vikings football team, especially #69 Jared Allen, whom he idealized. Dillon’s passions were playing football, hunting, fishing, biking, and especially loving his dog, Gunner.

Dillon will be missed every day by his parents, James and Lynnette Chaisson Jr., brother Justin, sister Natalie, grandparents James Chaisson Sr, Mary Chaisson, Steven and Patricia Hanrahan, his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many great friends.

His personality was larger than life and has always helped others. Dillon worked with special needs children and in lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to Opportunity Village, at opportunityvillage.org.

Dillon brightened our days at Palo Verde. He was fun and full of energy. I remember how excited he was over his Ford Raptor and his love of football. My deepest condolences to the Chaisson family. We will all miss Dillon.

Dillon was a sweet boy. He befriended Roberto at SEAS and they remained friends while they were at BGHS together. We all remember him as a "sweet kid," in the words of Roberto. We are devastated of his passing. A light like his will never go out and will continue to shine in the hearts of his family and friends. Our sincerest sympathies, Doug, Patty, and Roberto Thomas

I keep seeing that little boy standing in the kitchen of the Peccole Ranch house, a guilty look on his face as he tried to hide his binky from all of the adults. That's how I'll always remember you, Dillon.
We pray you will be comforted with the knowledge that you will all be together again as a family. You're all in our prayers.

I got to hear all about Dillon during Lynnette and Jims time in Hawaii. My heart breaks for you all and the love that was there was truly incredible and should be celebrated. Such a beautiful family. I am just so sorry to have never met Dillon. All my love to you all and hope you find strenght tomorrow and every day forward. I hope Dillon finds Sydney and plays with her on the playground in heaven. I just donated to the incredible Las Vegas Opportunity Village. Sounds incredible and made me smile envisioning Dillon volunteering with them. Love and Aloha

The Ortale family is sending our sincerest condolences. My husband had the opportunity to coach Dillon at Palo Verde, where my sons played football with him also. I will NEVER forget the Faith Lutheran game where Dillon intercepted the ball and the big guy ran it back for a touchdown!! We are all very saddened by your loss. He touched many lives in his short time here.

With Love,

My sweet, sweet DD,
My heart is in pieces and I don't know if I will ever be the same. I miss your laugh, your smile, your jokes, your quick-wit, your crazy stories, but most of all your hugs. I know Heaven gained an amazing, funny, loving Angel. I wish you would be here when Jake graduates or when Drew goes to high school. But I know you will be their forever Guardian Angel. Rest In Peace my sweet, sweet Godson. I love you always and forever.
