Maureen and Laura,

I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I have great memories of your parents and the get togethers we had as kids growing up in Vegas in the 70s. I treasure those memories and think of them more often than you know. I am grateful to your parents and the friendship our families had back then.

I know this is a difficult time and the words cannot lessen the sadness. But still it brings a smile to think of our parents being able to get back together again now around a small table in a small kitchen in a block house, having a few drinks and telling some good old stories.

As I read the lovely recap of Jack's life, it reminded me of what a great man your father was. You are lucky to have had him as a father and often wished that if I had a dad, he would have been a lot like yours.
