I met Jose in Cuba back in 1957. We were dealers at the Jai Alai Fronton.
Many years went by and we were reunited again at the Desert Inn in Las Vegas around 1969.
Jose was a true gentleman and friend. Id like to send his family a heartfelt message of condolence.

RIP dear friend

I had the privilege of working with Jose at
the now closed Desert Inn hotel in both the
21 pit and baccarat pit.
He had many tales to tell of his days in
Cuba and the states as a casino dealer.
But, the one thing that always stood out
was "family ".
He was gracious enough to invite my wife
and I to one of his ( i believe ) son's
weddings !!!! and reception. What a blast !!!
Jose was one of the cleanest dealers I've
ever watched. He had great moves around the table. Jose never had anything bad to say
about any one ! He always tried to see the
good in people, Even in me !!
You will be missed me amigo.
God bless you, and yours.
